How do I add a post to the school blog?

The Admin login controls the School Blog.

To add a new post:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Click on the title of the school blog (or on any previous blog post)
  3. On the right click ‘New post’
  4. Write the blog post including images or videos
  5. At the foot of the editor choose if you want to allow comments and if (student) comments should be moderated
  6. Choose if you want to stop parents from commenting on your blog
  7. set an expiry date if the contents of the blog post is time limited
  8. Click continue

This post will now appear on the dashboard of all users.

If you want other users to create and edit school blog posts:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Click on the title of the school blog (or on any previous blog post)
  3. On the right click ‘Editors’
  4. On the left search for your editors and click ‘Add selected’
  5. Editors will now appear on the right

You can use the school blog for news and notices as well as an interactive communication tool.
